Andy Brooks
Level II Lydiard Coach

Location: Derby, Derbyshire, United Kingdom

I am based in Derbyshire in the UK. I am happy to work with athletes remotely but prefer to have some face to face contact, particularly in the initial stages.

Area of Coaching Interest:

Working with runners of all levels, including absolute beginners, to help them achieve their endurance running goals.

I have a particular interest in off-road (trail and fell) running, through to ultra marathon distance.

Experience as a coach:

I have been supporting club mates and running friends with their training for over a decade, and formally working as a coach since 2015.

I work with a wide range of athletes from absolute beginners to successful ultra-marathoners. I am a key member of the coaching team within my club as well as working with various private clients..

Experience as an athlete:

I discovered running could be enjoyable in my late 20’s while training to climb a mountain. Since then, in the last 20 years, I’ve competed in around 400 races in distances ranging from 1 mile to over 100 miles.

In the races I’ve done I’ve finished last, I’ve finished first and I’ve finished in just about every other position in-between; so I feel I can relate to runners of all abilities. I have had some successes, including wins in a number ultra-marathons, but this has been more down to my desire to test my boundaries and willingness to learn from failure, rather than natural athletic ability.

Coaching Philosophy:

I believe most people have the capability to achieve goals beyond what they imagined possible in running, if they take the right approach and have guidance which is suitable to them as individuals. Helping others to tap into their true potential to achieve their running ambitions, whatever they are, is something I find immensely rewarding, perhaps even more so than my own running. This was my key motivation for becoming a coach.

I’ve always had to fit my running around a busy family and (non-running related) working life, with long hours and lots of travel. I can therefore fully appreciate the limitations athletes I work with have on their time, and know how to help them make the most of the time they do have available for running.

Other Credentials:

Accomplishments:

As a coach I have helped many runners to achieve their goals from personal bests at 10k to completing gruelling ultra marathons.

As an athlete my main accomplishments are:

Adrian Porter
Level II Lydiard Coach

Location: Holt, Norfolk  United Kingdom

Area of Coaching Interest:

Athletes of all abilities

Experience as a coach:

Became frustrated at coaching available and emphasis on running intervals on the track. I trained my daughter according to Lydiard’s principles and she has not looked back. I have undertaken the Lydiard Foundation course to improve my knowledge and to network with other Lydiard coaches.

Experience as an athlete:

Coaching Philosophy:

Everyone has the ability to improve. Athletes need to understand why they are undertaking certain training and not be too rigid with a running schedule. Every athlete is unique and following the Lydiard principles will allow people to reach their true potential. “Train don’t strain” as Arthur would say.

Experience as a Coach and/or Athlete:

I started to run around 1978.  Within two years I was being coached to Lydiard principles by a Kiwi coach. I was ranked 12th in UK at age 16 at 1,500m steeplechase , I stopped running around 1989 . In 2013 I started to run again , this time I coached myself to Lydiard principles and have been making good progress as a master in trail and road races in addition to coaching a few from within my club.

      Credentials:
      Lydiard Level II Coaching Certification

      Philosophy:

I have undertaken Lydiard Foundation level 1+2 coaching certificate to make sure that my memory and interpretation of these principles is true. It is the best proven training system in my opinion in the world today. I will now continue to make progress with my own achievements and to help others progress and reach their goals now that I know I am following the Lydiard way in true fashion .

          Bill Buffum, Ph.D.
          Level II Lydiard Coach

            Location:  Louisville, CO

            About Bill:

I am a 16 year cancer survivor, but with 46 marathons completed including three Boston Marathons. I love running and the people who run.

            Areas of Coaching Interest:

As the president of the Boulder Road Runners and coached by Ewen North of Revolution Running in Boulder, I feel a responsibility to use my knowledge to help runners who are dealing with special issues like health problems, family stress, and other life issues. I have a special interest in the older runner, a new breed of runner who didn’t exist in the past.

            Experience as a Coach/Athlete:

Like many other runners, my own coaches have taught me most of that which I know. Calvin Denton of South Florida was an early coach as was Al Lawrence in Houston, Texas. Arriving in Boulder, I looked to Rich Castro for his guidance, and finally I became a certified level II coach with the Lydiard Foundation. All of my coaches over the year based their guidance on Arthur Lydiard’s teaching. My own coaching draws directly from Arthur Lydiard and the Foundation.

            Credentials:

With masters and doctoral degrees in social work, my main thrust is for people to learn to believe in their own capabilities to overcome difficulties and to become all that they wish to be.

            Philosophy:

There are a few basic principles that inform my coaching philosophy. They are consistency, building and maintaining an aerobic base, and positive communication with oneself and one’s running group. Briefly, one cannot build strength for running by running only occasionally. It is necessary to run regularly regardless of the occasional desire not to do so. Building one’s aerobic base requires a substantial portion of one’s running time at an easy aerobic level. That should be about 80% of one’s running. Speed comes later. In running, we generally achieve greater speed and endurance in stages. We plateau after pushing ourselves and need to back off for a few days or a week. We make some of our greatest gains while in active recovery. Finally, we need to have goals. If we have no goals, we are unlikely to achieve them. Further, our planning for race events should be guided by our ultimate goals, otherwise there is a tendency to over train, over race, and get injured.

            Level II Lydiard Coach

              Location: Tampa, FL

About Brad Minus: After years of being a work-a-holic, my blood counts were taken and deemed to be a little worse than normal. My good cholesterol was down, my bad was up, my triglycerides were through the roof and so on. I decided to start taking a boot camp class twice a week, and after some time I added a yoga class, and a little later a boxing class, and a little later I starting running with a running group.
This all came to a halt when I herniated my L5/S1 disc in my lower back. The Orthopedist and neurosurgeon both said my long distance running days were over and that I might be able to run a couple of miles slowly as a warm up, but anything more than would be painful.
Well, that was numerous 5ks,10ks, & half-marathons, 23 marathons, 13 half Ironman distance triathlons (70.3) and 4 Ironmans ago.
This came after extensive research in biomechanics, anatomy and physiology, testing my theories and then applying them. Obviously my formula for reducing the impact on my back worked.
6 weeks after I completed my first Ironman Triathlon, I ran the Walt Disney World Goofy Challenge which consisted of a Half Marathon one day and a Marathon the very next day. After that a client of mine, Tara Belfi, named me the Iron Goof and not long after that my blog was born.
I continue to train and run races whenever I can, but due to my successes, I now coach running and triathlon privately, for running and triathlon clubs, Tampa General Hospital, and running stores.

              Accomplishments:

              • 2013 Tampa General Hospital Wellness Leader of the Year

              Coaching Philosophy:

While I want you to be able to run (bike and swim) faster and longer, my sole objective is to help you become stronger, more efficient, stay injury free and HAVE FUN! Once that becomes a habit, you will then be able to train for speed, train harder, and rapidly progress. I understand that everyone is unique, so the plan that I design, is specifically designed for you, your goals, and your personal life and circumstances. I have been utilizing my own plan and have designed several other plans for my athletes using the Lydiard Methodology and the progress is really outstanding. Since my niche is new and returning runners, the aerobic phase has increased some of my client’s endurance 4-fold. I have one client who has been doing 5:1 run walking intervals forever and now he is running 5 miles straight!

About Bryon: Bryon Malang is currently a Project Manager working in Healthcare IT. He is completing his MBA in Healthcare Administration and Leadership at Regis University. His undergraduate education was at Colorado State University in Business Administration. Bryon lives in Denver, Colorado and is an avid runner, musician, and car enthusiast.

Bryon began as a soccer player and competed in the 2006 Gothia Youth Cup where the team was 12 out of 200 teams. After finding success in the mile for soccer tryouts, he began his Track career as a Junior at Niwot High School. During his only year in Cross Country, he helped the team place 3rd at the State XC Championships and finished 13th in the 3200 meter final at the Track and Field state championship. In his final year, local analysts thought he would place 22nd in the state final since he was an unknown in the sport.

In college, Bryon founded Ram Runners as he wanted to build a running club that blended a competitive atmosphere, but incorporated social runners that were looking to stay in shape. However, academics came first for all runners as they were focused and dedicated to their studies.

In the working world, Bryon continues to train at a high level, but enjoys coaching others looking to fulfill their goals (no matter the objective)  and maximize their potential!

                    About:

I am a coach, a runner, a mother, a climber, and a philosopher (as in, I like to think about and examine questions that are difficult, if not impossible, to answer). These are the five attributes that I believe best sum up the central aspects of my life. They all came to me and stuck, and I became them.

I’ve been a runner for 30 years – Well, actually much longer than that (really 40+ years) – I ran my first race when I was 8 years old, the only girl in the pack, and that was it, I was hooked. But over the past 25 years, running has been a constant in my life – through all the changes of life – I remain a runner.

My approach is developmental – We run today for tomorrow, for next week, for next year. And, we run today for today. There is no magic bullet to be found. Improvement and personal satisfaction is found in developing consistent, productive habits over time. A Lydiard based system is by nature developmental: We work from where you are now and where you want to be, this year…next year…five years from now. What is required is a clear, intelligent, informed and focused plan based on YOUR goals.

I am a Certified Running Coach and Functional Movement System Expert.  I love running and have a passion for coaching individuals by identifying and developing personal strengths.  I have coached running for 8 years, developmental football for 25 years, and disabled skiing for 26 years.

Back in 2005, I decided to leave behind my couch potato lifestyle to start running.  I learned as much as I could about running by reading every running magazine and book I could find, and then experimented with those running techniques and strategies on myself.  I strive for the optimal balance between running effort, performance, and running injury-free.

I have completed numerous Marathons, Half Marathons, and 10Ks on the way to completing my first Boston Marathon in 2012.  I also enjoy trail running and have completed the 50 Mile Fat Dog Ultra, 50K Lost Soul Ultra, 50K Mesquite Canyon Ultra, and numerous trail runs in the Arizona XTerra Trail Run Series and Aravaipa Desert Runner Trail Series.  I learned a lot of valuable running tips and strategies from Expert Running Coach Greg McMillan (McMillan Running and author of “You, only faster“), Andrew Lemoncello (Olympian), and Ian Torrence (Ultra Running guru) when I participated in the McMillan Running Camp.

                                        ABOUT:

I´ve always enjoyed being active and I´ve been a recreational swimmer all my life!

Although I´ve admired runners since I was a kid, I believed I could never be one. Every time I ran I was slower than the rest or my knees would hurt.

My dear husband was the first one to teach me how to run and gave me the confidence to believe I could do it. So I was content with running once a week on a treadmill till I met my first runner friend Rebecca, who kind of made me register to my first race, a 5k!

After running my first race, I was hooked!! I began running twice a week, I started reading and talking about it constantly and participating in several races which I enjoyed more and more!

I was concerned by how often runners got injured or ran in pain… I was enjoying running so much that it was clear to me that I wanted to do it for the rest of my life just as I´ve always envisioned myself swimming forever. That´s why I took very seriously learning about technique and training to run and feel better.

In August 2013 I attended Active at Altitude Women´s Running Camp Level II, in Estes Park, Colorado. I learned and practiced a lot! In Colorado I decided to become a running coach to share my knowledge and guide people who have just started running or who want to improve.

I enrolled in  and Lydiard Coach Certification Programs and I´m happy and proud to have become a Lydiard Level II Certified Coach in Boulder, Colorado!

I´m currently running, training and coaching runners of all levels in Mexico and abroad. I´m also very happy to be leading a Runners Club in Aguascalientes called Sporteam by Emma.

                                            Philosophy:

As an exercise physiologist, I believe understanding sports science can help you train smarter and achieve your best performances. As a professional coach and full-time runner, I understand that the scientific jargon can be like, well, scientific jargon. There’s often a “disconnect” between what the physiologists say and what those in the real world of training and racing say (and do!).

McMillan’s mission is simple – to help people fulfill their potential. His coaching effort’s growing menu of products and services reflect this mission.

                                            Level II Lydiard Coach

                                              Location: South Bend, IN

                                              About Greg Mueller:

After a brief high school running career, Greg discovered cycling in college, where he began training to compete in Indiana University’s Little 500, where he came o-so-close to the win with a 2nd place in the now famous annual race. Greg’s passion for the sport continued after college. He achieving the level of USAC Cat. 1 racing on both the road and track, and his successes included a 14th place finish in the Points Race at the 2000 US Olympic Track Cycling Trials.

By 2002 Greg was looking for new challenges and turned to triathlon. His fitness and training from cycling allowing him to turn Professional within one short year. In 2010, Greg placed 10th overall at the Best of the U.S. National Championships, and 3rd in his age group at the USAT Nationals.

Always interested in how to be a better athlete, he is always tenaciously exploring new ways to train smarter. Greg’s experimentation with many training and recovery plans often represents cutting-edge thinking that later becomes “standard practice.” Coupling that knowledge (gained and reinforced by his own experiences) with his formal coaching education, Greg has developed a deep understanding of human physiology and why and how the human body does what it does, and more specifically …. what it can do! Greg applied his passion and knowledge of training as a coach beginning in 2001. He continues to work diligently to provide the balance, insight, motivation and support that has helped many athletes, pro’s and age-groupers alike, to find success.

To begin with, I love to run, and always hope to. My running days began at High School in England. I ran at County, (State level equivalent in USA), and was running a 7 minute mile pace over 10 miles and longer, at age 32 alongside a full life, raising two children.

                                                Other:

I hope to set up a charitable organisation in the future that helps young people, from less fortunate backgrounds, to learn what it means to become empowered. To be able to make choices that become desired actions using the health and fitness model which, of course, includes running.

                                                      Credentials:

                                                      • Certified Running Coach II (Lydiard Foundation)

                                                      Coaching Philosophy:

Jill believes there’s a star in all of us. She attracts the beginner runner because she was there once herself. “When I was in high school, I ran track and was so bad. I was 30 pounds overweight and didn’t understand why I wasn’t performing well.” Jill turned her life around at age 19 and became more healthy by improving her diet and increasing her exercise. “Once I improved my diet, the exercise was much easier.” With gradual progress, she became fitter, more confident and a reputable runner. “I can relate how hard it is to get started. If I can do it, you can too!”

                                                      On Lydiard Training:

“I absolutely agree with the Lydiard Method because of its giant aerobic base training. After using the Lydiard Method, I began running faster while maintaining a lower aerobic heart rate; something I’ve never experienced because previously most of my runs were too fast with too high a heart rate leaving me over trained, over stressed, at a stagnant pace and with no positive benefits. Since using the Lydiard Method I feel better conditioned and healthier than with any other program I’ve used. I’ve never felt stronger.”

                                                          Coaching Philosophy:

Cookie cutters are great for making cookies, not for creating proper training plans. Unlike typical running plans that apply a rigid schedule that attempts to build all facets of running fitness concurrently, Lydiard-based training is unique in that it applies proven training principles and adapts to changes in fitness to match the abilities of the specific runner. I feel that the Lydiard method complements my approach of designing training that is very specific to the individual runner and their goals.

Since discovering this approach, I have seen great improvements in the runners that I coach, and also have seen my personal race times significantly improve. While I work with runners of all abilities, they all share a common desire to optimize their training to run the best possible race they can. The Lydiard approach is my key to helping my runners reach that goal.

I have been coaching for a few years now which started via my local running club in South London, England (UK) ‘Clapham Chasers’. I now coach a number of athletes – men and women on a one-to-one basis supporting their pursuit of running dreams and goals.

I’m also the Cross Country captain for Clapham Chasers’ men’s team who were promoted from 2XU Surrey League Division II last season 2014/15 as champions. As a team we compete locally in Surrey and Nationally in the UK.

Experience as a Coach and/or an Athlete:

I have been running for nearly ten years stepping this up a gear in 2009 as I started chasing my dream of running London Marathon and achieving a GFA (Good for Age) qualifying time. I have completed 6 marathons and numerous half marathons all over the world as far afield as Australia and Singapore.

                                                              Coaching Philosophy

I believe that every runner is different and needs a unique coaching style. Everyone has the potential to improve massively with a structured tailored approach and once they start to follow this it’s my experience that they then really start to enjoy running even more. It’s amazing how many runners out there still do not do this. It’s frustrating to see how many runners train too hard and fast and continue to break down/ become injured for these very reasons. I believe a combination of hard work and fun combined with strengthening and appropriate rest and recovery is key to every runner improving and reaching their goals.

I have been coaching a beginner running group for about two years.

                                                                Coaching Philosophy:

Everyone has potential. We all have that inner athlete in all of us sometimes we need someone to help us discover the athlete that lies deep within. I enjoy helping others achieve goals they never thought possible. I have a passion for coaching individuals of all levels especially the beginner runner because I was there not too long ago. My journey almost did not begin due to fear. A long-time friend referred me to a local running store and my husband had to almost drag me in there. I was overweight by at least 30 pounds and out of shape; I never liked running because I was not good at it. I had no idea how my life was about to change when I walked through the doors of that run specialty store. My journey of a healthier lifestyle included being more active and changing my eating habits. The accountability of the friendships made along the way prove to be instrumental in your training. I want your journey to include having fun and finish strong, to achieve your goals and to love running!

                                                                Lydiard Training:

I completely agree with the Lydiard Training Method because of the aerobic base. I have used other plans in the past but I found myself over training, running too fast most of the time with my heart rate too high, and not recovering properly. The Lydiard Training Method is the ideal training plan with the athlete reaping wonderful, positive benefits without over training or over stressing the body.

I look forward to helping you achieve your goals! As a runner and fitness enthusiast, I enjoy pushing my body and mind to achieve things I previously believed were “impossible.” As a coach, I believe that everyone has the ability to become who they want to be. Friendships are made, ideas are born and lives are changed through running. So often in life, all we can see is the prize. We work toward a goal, enduring pain and inconvenience because we believe the end result is worth it. And, if we fall short of the outcome we desired, we are filled with disappointment. I want you to fall in love with running. I want you to enjoy the process. I want you to reach your goal a changed person… and be able to say that every moment you spent training was worth the time and effort invested.

Although I’ve been a gym rat my entire life, I only started running a few years ago. At first I hated running. I hated it so much I insisted that if my trainer made me run one more lap around the track, I would find a trainer who wouldn’t force me to run. Then one day, I got a little jealous of my hot mama marathon running friends… and decided I’d tough it out. Obviously, I love running now! I’ve completed about 15 half marathons and four marathons, many 5K and 10K races and a half Ironman.

I love working with new runners and people who think they “can’t” or “won’t” run. I can relate to their struggles because I was there once… and lost 50 pounds as I transformed from a tired mother of three young girls to an endurance junkie. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals!

I want you to reach your goal a changed person… and be able to say that every moment you spent training was worth the time and effort invested.

Lauren is ready and willing to coach anyone who would like to incorporate Lydiard training principles into their running regimen. Many athletes have found these principles to be beneficial in preventing injury and improving performance. Lauren is experienced in writing flexible training plans for people who are crunched for time.

Experience as a coach and/or athlete:

Lauren started running seriously as a stress outlet when she quit smoking in 2010. Running has since become a passion. (or obsession depending on who you ask). Lauren has experience running multiple 5k and 10ks. She has also done half-marathons and a marathon. She became a Lydiard Certified Coach in May 2014. She coached herself and successfully completed Grandma’s Marathon in June of 2014 to celebrate ten years of surviving a suicide attempt that nearly ended her life. She believes that running is a great way to build self-esteem in a positive and healthy way.

                                                                    Coaching Philosophy:

Running is not fun when you are constantly getting injured. Training reasonably using a time-tested and proven training method such as Lydiard’s is worth the time and effort. A personal coach is valuable for encouragement and accountability. But the most important thing a coach can do is to steer you away from injury. A good coach should be able to teach you and make you a better runner. Running should progress systematically and you should only do the things you are ready for. Each year should build on the year before it, and consistency is key!

Athletes range from first timers to “Ironman” finishers

                                                                      Philosophy:

“Life and family first. Everything else second. Training next.” I believe that a coach is an athletic tool and an investment. Training should compliment the athlete’s life, not dictate it. The better a coach understands an athlete’s lifestyle, the more effective the partnership. Recovery and nutrition are so often the over-looked and under utilized facets of training, yet an athlete cannot succeed without either of them. A periodized training plan such as those exemplified by the Lydiard method promotes success by the inclusion of appropriate nutrition and recovery. I am emphatic about incorporating (and altering as necessary) nutrition plans into the actual athletic training so that the athlete is completely comfortable and ready for success on race day.

                                                                      Coaching Goals:

                                                                      • “Build the Athlete. Grow the Sport. Reach the Podium.”
                                                                      • Provide a varied/periodized training plan that compliments the athlete’s lifestyle and takes advantage of the natural surroundings and available resources
                                                                      • Provide encouragement and feed back on ALL aspects of training from workouts to nutrition to recovery to leisure time
                                                                      • Find the balance between training, competing, hard work, recovery, fun, and just plain enjoyment that suits the athlete

“Surrender” is not a word we often associate with athletic performance. Life is full of paradox and when we can embrace and understand this, it gets juicy and fun: “run fast…but relaxed” you say? Yep. Even the great Arthur Lydiard said “to run fast, go slow.” By this, he meant to build the aerobic base, with running which is easy enough that you can carry on a conversation (just don’t talk about anything that inflames your passions…your heart rate may soar).

I have found a new mantra which I share with my athletes: “Think ‘open,’ rather than ‘push’ at the end of a hard workout interval, tempo run, or race. There is quite an energetic difference between these two suggestions we may make to ourselves, as we are experiencing a moment of truth during a taxing episode of running. Try “open” on for size and see how your performance – as well as your overall enjoyment of running, is affected. Here is a photo of one of my runners, “opening” during a tempo run. There’s a reason why people say “athletics is 90% mental.” Cheers!!

Personally, I transitioned from a life-long pursuit of team field sports to now focusing on competitive running since 2011. I coach myself and learn from my successes and failures. I have been fortunate to accomplish all my goals so far.

I do a good amount of couch to xxxx… where runners are trying to attain a new distance goal. I also enjoy working with athletes in improving their performances at a given distance. I always say “Any runner, any distance, any speed.” I find myself always gravitating to the following reading topics: Evolutionary Biology, Anthropology, debunking myths/misconceptions, Astrophysics.

I began my coaching career while in high school working with a local middle school cross country team.  Today, I can be found lining up to run a variety of races around the country, but my favorite distance is the half marathon.  Over the last 10 years, I’ve coached runners to an impressive record of top age group finishes in distances ranging from 5k to ultra marathons.

No matter how big or ambitious your goals are, if you don’t enjoy the process, stay healthy, and have fun, it isn’t worth it. Since most of the runners I coach don’t have an athletic background and are adults with lots of responsibilities, I like to avoid technical jargon. I’m very flexible with workouts and schedules so we can modify and adapt on the go. As a Lydiard coach, I’m strongly convinced in periodization and I put special emphasis in hill workouts the Lydiard way. Hills are a runner’s best friend.

I love to coach people to race and reach their personal best. As a master runner myself and as I mostly coach adult people, I don’t share the idea that as you get “older” you must jump to longer distances. I encourage my athletes to run short and long races. You don’t become slow because you are aging. You become slow because you stop training properly. So let’s have some fun and set your personal record training the Lydiard way.

I have one guiding philosophy that underpins all planning and communication with athletes: If they are prepared to commit the time to a goal they deserve 100% commitment by me to help them reach that goal. Why do I coach? I love seeing people achieve their goals, and if I can be a small part of that journey and make it a more enjoyable process for the athlete – then that makes me happy.

The freedom to experience nature by relying only on my own two legs to take me left or right, fast or slow is wonderful. I have traveled the world representing both Bermuda and Sweden. Through running, I have met, and continue to meet amazing people. I feel so lucky that running has become my job, because it is such a pleasure to be working with adult runners and to see them gain confidence, improve their running times, and be healthy in the process. Experience as a coach and/or athlete:

I believe in a balanced approach to training that involves communication between the coach and athlete. The coach serves as a guide helping the athlete to develop an intuitive ability to listen to their body. I aim to provide a comprhensive paln for the athlete while also lsitening to the individual needs of each athlete I coach. Since I teach several classes devoted to keeping runners healthy (including deep water running and Foundation training) I have my runners pariticipate in these activities to help prevent injury and create a more balanced approach to training.

Experience as a Coach and/or Athlete:

As an athlete, I have raced every distance from 800m to marathon over the past 3 years, including Boston. I’m frequently on the podium for my age group in all the local races, although there was a time when I didn’t think that was possible. Five years ago, I couldn’t even run one block after recovering from a foot injury which took away my chances of being on the university running team because I took about 3 years off running. I was determined to rebuild my fitness level in order to come back stronger and faster than I ever was in high school, where I competed in cross country, 1500m, and 3000m at the provincial level.

I entered the fitness industry in order to help people train properly so that they don’t have to go through what I went through. Since I couldn’t afford things like physio and chiro when I was in university, I took the past 5 years to rebuild my body and learn everything I can about avoiding such injuries so that I could share the knowledge with my clients. Since then, I’ve run a 5k PB-19:25, 10k PB- 40:56, half marathon PB- 1:28, and marathon PB 3:18. Not only that, but I’ve ran a BQ time every time I’ve ran a marathon. Best of all, I’ve learned how to train and not strain and now I’m teaching others to do the same. Now I’m able to help people prevent injuries, achieve personal bests while at the same time having fun the entire training cycle.
